Information from our clients

When we work inside a client's Odoo database or other business systems, we may see personal information about that client's customers, staff and suppliers. We handle that information on the client's instructions under our service agreement with them. The client's own privacy policy applies to it, not this one.

We collect, use and share personal information with your consent, or as otherwise allowed or required by law. By giving us your information, you agree to its use as described here.

You can withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual limits, by emailing us. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer answer an inquiry or provide a service.

Who we share information with

We share personal information only where there is a reason to.

Where information is stored

Some of our service providers store or process information outside your province or outside Canada, including in the United States. Information held in another country is subject to that country's laws, and may be available to its courts and authorities.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires. Inquiry records are kept while the conversation is active and for a reasonable period after. Client and financial records are kept for the period required by tax and accounting rules. After that, information is deleted or made anonymous.

How we protect it

We use reasonable physical, technical and organizational safeguards to protect personal information, including access controls and encrypted connections. No website or system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If you think your information has been compromised, tell us straight away.
